Question:
Could anyone recommend a good eye doctor in the Los Angeles area, especially
towards the west side beach area (Santa Monica, etc.)? Someone very
knowledgeable and experienced in fitting different kinds of contact lenses,
including multifocals, silicon hydrogels, etc.
I'd sure know who to go to if I lived in or near Santa Barbara, our very
knowledgeable and helpful Larry Doc. (I don't think any of the eye docs who
write here work in the L.A. area, AFAIK. Correct me if I'm wrong.)
I haven't been highly impressed with either of the couple of eye docs I've
been to here so far, since I moved back to this area a few years ago. Could
anyone make a recommendation?
Answer:
I had two cataract surgeries with Doctor David Hoffbauer in Beverly
Hills. Perfect results, better than 20 20 in each eye, no discomfort,
and back to work the next day. Andrew Smyth
