Question:
Can someone post a URL that has pics of these different configurations?
Answer:
Try this

Under Oar Accessories, the first picture shows pin & clip with sheath.
The 3rd picture shows an oarlock, as does the 4th (along the top).
In the second row, the 3rd picture shows an OarRight.
Carlisle oars are pretty easy to break. I have never seen a cataract oar
break. I also like the way they flex a little through the stroke. Feels more
like a wood oar.
I've had both Carlisle and Cataract Oars and Love the Cataract shafts...
I've bent several Carlisle shafts over the years and that's the end of them.
I've never broken a Cataract despite worse abuse than the Carlisles. The
flex seems to add energy to your pull and although I think there is more
flex than a good wood oar, they seem stiff enough that you're not losing
energy in your pull. Classy oars with Carlisle 8" blades... I'm not sure I
like the Cataract blades, too narrow and although they float, I've seen a
couple folks who trashed their's. The foam core doesn't have the rigidity
of the Carlisle's.
