My cat has to have a lens removed from one eye due to an anterior lens
luxation. Do these estimated prices seem to be within a normal range?

my cat had two eye surgeries....my veterinary optomologist will
charge up to 1500 for cataract surgery...the initial surgery on my cat cost me
about 750.00 not including any post operative visits or any of the medications.
I think those prices seem right at least to me.
That's actually quite reasonable. I've personally paid a lot more for
animal care. When my cat was hospitalized after a toxic reaction to a flea
shampoo the bill was over $1600.00 and there was no surgery involved. The
anesthesia alone is usually well over $100.00.
