Question:
I had Cataract surgey about Two months ago. I'm diabetic. Everything went fine
after the surgey untill this past Friday. All of a suden I had this floater
that grew in size and felt like something was bleeding as well. Went the very
next day right away to the Eye. Doc. He said that I needed lasery surgey right
away because of bleeding. Within 3 hrs I had 1649f laser shots to stop the
bleeding. The Doc. said gave me a full treatment and said it went well.
Question ??It's the day after and I still have this floater that looks like a
cob web and I'm still seeing red and my vision is still bad like before I had
the cataract removed .He gave me some eye drops to releive pressure on my eye
ball which was high. I need some addvice. Will this clear up ? Will my vision
be as good as after I had the cataract removed ?Is there something they can do
to rid me of this cob web thats blocking my vision?
Answer:
If I were you I'd get straight back to the doctor who did the laser treatment,
rather than asking on the internet. I'm not a doctor and I have no idea whether you
have good reason to be worried or not but in my book if you're worried you
should call the doctor rather than taking a chance and waiting. He surely has
an obligation to make sure there's nothing wrong.
